Well it’s been awhile since last posting here …. been so busy with various Max Toy events … and I’m way late on posting this … the show is long over but we had a fantastic turn out for the opening ( Thank you to everyone who came out and traveled to the show ! )
Held every two years, it’s been what 7 years since the first one ?!! Crazy really .. who’d have thought Kaiju could be so popular and still going strong !
I want to get these pictures up so I’ll keep the text to a minimum and just say that nearly everything sold, but there are still a few pieces left via this link: http://www.rotofugi.com/gallery/exhibits/2013-tk4exhibit/
Rotofugi Kirby, Myself and Rotofugi Whitney. Without their ongoing support there would be no Toy Karma. Besides being great supporters of the Art Toy scene, they are good people, period … who work really hard to make it all work.
Myself and my son, Max … hard to believe he’s my size now ;-P
In my opinion, Rotofugi has the best combination of store/gallery space. The historic building has really high ceilings and wonderful wood floors lending to the over all atmosphere.
Wow, @orangecatsandkaiju showing off the almost completed Negora tattoo ! Most impressive !
Well hopefully I have shots of everything in the show … I think I did ;-P Once again, a huge thanks to Rotofugi’s staff, Gallery Dave for another beautiful and flawless set up and show ( and for fixing the frame ! ) , all the participating artists, Yo Miyamoto for his help in Japan. Most importantly the Fans who show up every two years for the show ! If it wasn’t for you guys there would be no Toy Karma … i wish you all the best Toy Karma !!!
